Here are the dates for the remainder of our 2018 season and for 2019 (to date) – please add them to your diaries/calendars

2018

8th September – workshop for The Armed Man, Blackley Centre/Church – 10.00am til 4.00pm

13th October – The Armed Man, and other works, Halifax Minster – afternoon rehearsal, performance at 7.00pm

2nd December – Carols in The Piece Hall – more info to follow

15th December – Carol Concert with Hammonds Saltaire Band in Halifax Minster – afternoon rehearsal, performance at 7.00pm

2019

23rd March – Hymn Sing at Brighouse Central Methodist Church – rehearsal followed by “performance” at 4.00pm – NB earlier time than previous Hymn Sings

8th June – Spring concert with Hammonds Saltaire Band at All Saints Church, Elland

12th October – Autumn concert at Halifax Minster – details to follow

21st December – Carols at Halifax Minster

 

Vocal scores for Pirates and The Armed Man

A reminder that ALL copies of the Pirates score MUST be returned to Joan immediately after the performance at All Saints Church.

If you are not singing in Pirates, please ensure Joan has your score no later than Wednesday 13th June.

Copies of The Armed Man will be available from Joan on Wednesdays 20th and 27th June for those singers who do not have their own copy. The cost is £2. Please bring the £2 and let Sue Rosborough have this at the time you collect your music from Joan.

Details for “Pirates”

Hi everyone

Our “Pirates” concert at All Saint’s Church, Elland is just two weeks away – 16th June.

Rehearsal is from 2.00 to 4.00pm – please arrive for 1.40 so that we can be seated and ready to sing at 2.00.

The performance begins at 7.00, please arrive for 6.30.

A reminder – as per the recent group e-mail – that our “uniform” has been relaxed for this concert.

Tickets – please do what you can in the next two weeks to sell as many as possible. If we sell 120 tickets we have a contribution of £1440 for Overgate, if we sell 200 we have £2400…..
