Dear Choir Members
At the committee meeting this morning we took the decision that in the best interests of choir members and audience we are POSTPONING our performance of Messiah owing to the uncertainty surrounding Coronavirus.
It is very disappointing for us all especially as we were really looking forward to the concert and so many of us (including me) love to sing Messiah. A future date is to be arranged.
We also made the decision to CANCEL our concert in June at All Saints when we were going to perform The Mikado.
Therefore REHEARSALS ARE CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
• Please get in touch with anyone you have sold tickets to and inform them that the concert is postponed but to keep their ticket for future use. If anyone requires a refund, please get in touch with Sue Rosborough.
• It would be helpful if you could be responsible for placing a “POSTPONED” sign over any posters you have distributed.
• Any outstanding subscriptions can be posted to Sue Rosborough, Lakeside House, 97 Bar Lane, Ripponden, HX6 4BN. £80 is extended to the end of March and afterwards it will be £85. Please send an e-mail via the choir’s e-mail address asking for Sue to send the bank details if you wish to pay via online banking.
Our next committee meeting is on 3 April and I will update you further after that.
Please could you acknowledge receipt of this email so that I know that all choir members are aware of these arrangements.
I for one will miss Wednesday nights and seeing all of you but feel that under the present circumstances this is the best course of action.
